Pacific Valve Classic 6.1 Solid State Integrated Amplifier

We took a journey into the solid state world and found the Classic 6.10. The Classic
6.10 is an 80 watt (130 watts in 4 ohm) solid state amplifier with a built in headphone
amp, remote muting switch, 4 level inputs and stand by switch that also keeps parts
of the circuit "warm" in stand by mode.
Operating the Classic 6.10 is a snap. The Classic 6.10 has a stand by switch and the
actual on/off vacation switch is located on back panel just above the power plug.
When the unit is on , an indicator light turns from red to green. A switch operated the
main speakers and the headphones ( rated to accept 30 to 300 ohms). The output
operating section of the Classic 6.10 with its Toshiba output transistors is a master at
handling difficult loads as it can easily handle 4 to 16 ohms loads and responds well
even when speakers push the limit.
The Classic 6.10 measures 17 X 13 X 3 and weighs approximately 25 lbs.
