Bringing Value to the Audiophile Since 2003
If you do not have a computer based music library, you should begin assembling one by
ripping music off of your CDs or using a high end source such as HDtracks. We do not
recommend MP3s due to the inferior sound quality and compression scheme.
CyberServer easily reveals the short comings in this type of downloaded music and
compression. For EAC help and download, visit the CyberServer home page.
Step 2 - Install the NETGEAR EVA9150
|
CyberServer comes pre-configured and assembled by Pacific Valve to support high
definition audio. Using the CyberServer install guide, install and configure the NETGEAR
EVA9150. The installation process will establish a wireless connection between the
NETGEAR EVA9150 and your PC so you can transfer music files. This process takes
about 5-7 minutes if you are on a secure NETWORK entering the password manually.
Connect your Pacific Valve DAC via the supplied cable to the back of the EVA9150.
Connect a TV or a TV monitor to the back of the EVA9150. Install batteries on the remote.
Step 3 - Configure your PC
Using the NETGEAR EVA9150 install disk, install the NETGEAR client on your PC. After it
is configured, you will see the solid state drive on the NETGEAR EVA9150 as if it was a
hard drive on your PC. This process takes about 4 minutes.
