Pacific Valve M2Tech EVO

The M2tech EVO is a dramatic upgrade from the original HiFace. The EVO has all the
robust features and options that the ever changing world of digital audio demands. A few
features are: I2S output, optional clock input, optional power supplies and incredible
input/output connector compliment. The EVO is not just a re-housed HiFace; everything
inside the EVO has been redesigned.

Anyone who has heard the EVO would have a tough time going back to the classic
hiFace. A year ago one would have paid thousands of dollars for a transport & DAC that
might match the sound one can now get from a simple computer, some free software, and
the EVO.

World Clock
cock with the EVO. The EVO clock input is for
a master clock that needs to be either
22.5792MHz or 24.576MHz. In addition, the
source must be able to produce 3.3V on a 75
Ohm load. It's all indicated in the user If you
choose to do so, you can use a master
manual that every user should download.
Unfortunately, the word clock output on the
Esoteric can't be used with the EVO.
Power Supply
The Evo comes to Stock with a 9 volt
linear wall-wart type power supply to US
customers. Upgrading the power supply
will yield significant improvements in the
performance of the EVO.
