Pacific Valve Ming Da MD845A
MingDa’s latest 845 integrated amp, the EU MD845-A, a refined class A specification model of their
tube stereo integrated amplifier with 20 watts per channel of 845 SET sound. The MD 845A is made
to meet the rich quality demands of the high end USA and European markets. With 120v
transformers, specialty Jensen capacitors, a wide frequency range from 20Hz – 25kHz, an extremely
low distortion factor and low impedance, the EU MD845-A is optimized to retain high sound fidelity.
The MD 845-A has an “Operate” and “Stand By” mode for maximum flexibility and speaker protection.
The output meter displays the peak of the highest channel. Tube compliment is 2 X 845 tubes, 2 X
6SN7 tubes and 2 X 12AX7 tubes.
The EU MD845-A is carefully handcrafted, soldered and welded by experienced artisans passionate
about quality of audio, insuring a long product life expectancy and an aesthetic look on the inside and
outside of the amplifier.
For quality assurance and in order to protect the integrity of the Ming Da brand, every MD 845-A amp
has its own special spare part and commodity code to trace the origin of the amplifier. Transformers,
valves, capacitors, resistors, potentiometers, switches, and wires of MING DA EU amps are
considered to be of high production value as they are acquired from different elite distributors.

Transparent midrange "window" with outstanding detail and articulation. Highs: Highs are extended and slightly rolled off starting at 18kHz. Dynamics: Above
average dynamics, considerable weight and slam. Air around instruments: Look for decent air around instruments. Strength is that air spans the frequency
spectrum in equal amounts: bass, mids and highs - amazing. Body and Weight: This varies greatly depending upon tube selection - the midrnage is lean,
the bass is full and the highs are full Warm/Cold: Warm presentation surprisingly un-syrupy warmth for a SET amplifier. Imaging / Sound Stage Superb
imaging and sound staging. Instruments / vocals fly of speaker cones and land in the middle. Resolution / Detail: Clarity is strong through the bass and mids -
the highs are slightly above average. Value: Gives great 845 sound, without all the vices that come along with it. Don't underestimate its ability to run mini
monitors or full range speakers to room shattering levels.
