Give a sonic boost to any outboard DAC combination you own with the Musiland SRC-10 Upsampler
from DIYEDEN. While Musiland SRC-10 Upsampler is not a DAC, It improves the performance of the
outboard DAC you already own by supplying it with a higher sampling frequency for high performance
conversion.
The SRC-10’s wide sampling output frequency selection allows you to take full advantage of your DAC’s
filtering capabilities by providing a choice of upsampling frequencies. For example, the Musiland SRC-
10 takes full advantage of your 24 bit / 96 kHz DAC by providing it with its native sampling frequency of 96
kHz and a bit length 24 wide. The Musiland SRC-10 also improves the performance and sonic
characteristics of non-over sampling DACs. Using these native sampling frequencies provide a
smoother filtering process and hence, better sound all around. Highs are extended, instruments have
“air” around them and bass is deeper.
Small Box – Great Reproduction
Despite its small size, the Musiland SRC-10 upsampler packs in a lot of features. The SRC-10 uses a
Burr-Brown DIT4192 / CS8416 upsample chip that has one of the finest signal modulation schemes.
The SRC-10 accepts BNC, Optical and Coax inputs / outputs. Input sampling rates are from 32 kHz –
192KHz and the SRC 10 upsamples to 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176 and 192 kHz. An advanced jitter reduction
re-clocking circuitry and EMI interference cancellation complete the package in a 10” X 6” X 2” Box. The
SRC10 has an advanced microcomputer control technology, to provide users with a graphical human
interface and display, real-time digital input current, input signal sampling frequency and the current
output sampling rate.
