Pacific Valve Shenda SD100
Product Details
Two tube (12AX7) CD player with two outputs, remote, dual isolated transformers, Burr
Brown PCM1716 DACS and isolated component construction. This high end Tube CD
Player combines the time tested quality of tube audio sound with the design innovation of
Shenda, who did not skimp on construction for its entry level CD player. A Phillips CDM 12
Transport System and 3 beam laser pick-up are examples of the quality.
The sound of the player is the same as a high quality tube preamp. The midrange is
warm and detailed. The high end is very nicely presented and makes poorly recorded
CDs sound warm and inviting. The low end extends deep and resonates well. The
Shenda SD100 is an outstanding piece of equipment for the money.
