A Burr Brown PCM1716 starts the conversion process that feeds 12AU7 tubes directly
eliminating most of the "digital" sound coming out of CD players these days. Amplification
and final buffering is done through 12AX7 tubes that provide the CD player with
sweetness and a wide open sound stage. A CD player of this quality and sound
reproduction must be seen as well as heard!
