More About the Shuguang CV-181 Tube
Our ShuguangTubes are of the Highest Quality
The Shuguang "Black Bottle" series tubes are a different kind
of high end new stock tubes with amazing sonic characteristics
and quality. They come close to the sound of their New OLD
Stock (NOS) cousins and have outstanding reliability.
A black polymer alloy coats the glass of the tube and allows for
greater concentration of electrons on the plates thereby
enhancing electron flow as well as ensuring stability. The black
polymer coating also helps with noise reduction such as
"electron swirl" which ultimately keeps tube noise to a minimum.
A military grade "Super Alloy" technology has been adopted in
the production of these tubes to ensure their quality. The
"Super Alloy" technology took 3 years to adopt and has
completely changed the tube production process. Overall, the
technology produces a much quieter tube and a tubes that do
not sound "rough" or "glaring" in audio applications.
