Pacific Valve YS Audio Experience Balanced A2 SE

The YS Audio BALANCED A2 SE is a top-of-the-line fully balanced line preamp from YS Audio. The
Balanced A2 SE comes with 4 sets of balanced and unbalanced inputs, 2 sets of balanced and un
balanced outputs, record out, HT/BP for home theater and remote control. The YS Audio Balanced
A2 SE also includes: inputs are selected via a relay in round-robin style, soft start, remote control,
record monitor out, a volume control and left/right gain attenuators that can act as a balance control
and high/low gain adjustment.
This is an upgrade to the Balanced A2 called the "SE" preamp. This upgraded "SE" version uses
Cardas CTFA RCA connections , Neutrik XLR connections , and high end Sonicap coupling
capacitors.
The Balanced A2 SE completes our high end preamplifier line, offering the fully balanced user a
vacuum tube option at an amazing sonic value. The Balanced A2 SE uses a new class “A” wave auto
balanced circuitry that offers a wonderfully realistic presentation of a live performance. The gain stage
of the main circuit is a fully balanced design, with each channel using (2) 12AT7 and (1) 5687 vacuum
tubes to form a zero negative feedback (0 NFB) circuit topology. The A2 SE line stage employs these
specialized tubes to project a clean, fresh soundstage while effectively preventing RF and vibration
interference from external sources. The Balanced A2’s application of a highly efficient solid-state
regulator in the HVB+ power supply, produces a sonic quality that is completely stable, lively and
holds the rhythm of each instrument in the sound stage. An extremely quiet power supply comprised
of a fast, large current, R-core transformer and the shortest possible cable connections inside are
signatures of YS Audio
