From YS Audio comes their Concerto Plus, a high-end phono stage that
embodies the newest thinking in vacuum tube phono preamp design. The
Concerto plus has 54 db of gain, high / low level outputs and up to four
equalization circuits.
The Concerto plus is designed for MM (Moving Magnet) or high output
moving coil cartridges. Its input impedance is 47K. The Concerto is ideal for
use in conjunction with the Solo Moving Coil head amp, but will also take 47K
moving magnet or high output moving coil cartridges as well. The unique
design of the Concerto Plus allows for up to four equalization networks: RIAA
, London ffrr , Columbia and SP.
Point-to-point wiring, low noise level, 6X4 tube rectifiers with solid state B+
power supplies feed a full 3 tubed 12AX7 gain stage. The design keeps noise
extremely low, up to 80 dB below 10mV input.
