Yaqin CD 3 Tube Buffer
Leaping off the success of the CD1, the Yaqin CD3 tube buffer is for audiophiles that want to exploit the
outstanding characteristics of the 6SN7 tube. The CD3 offers slightly more buffering than the CD1 and
the effect is a slightly more richer sound.
The 6SN7 tubes are configured in a dual triode cathode (parallel) design that gives the CD3 its sonic
character. The circuitry gives the CD3 its wide frequency response and low distortion characteristics.
The silicon steel transformers are housed in the silver box located in the back of the unit. There is a
power switch on the side as well as a dual voltage switch in the back and a detachable power cord.
Warm up the sound of a harsh solid state CD player or add a rich mid range to entire system by placing
the CD3 between preamplifier and amplifier. You can also change to sound of the CD3 by "Rolling" or
changing tubes to get the sound you desire. Out "Tube Righteousness" section discusses these
options.
